App: AI Pet Assistant

1. Introduction
We respect your privacy and take the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy describes
how we (Developer) collect, use, store, and protect information you provide when using the AI Pet Assistant
mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App").
2. What Data We Collect
To provide the App's functionality, we collect the following types of data:
2.1. Account Data:
- Email address (for registration, login, and password recovery).
- Phone number (for user identification and communication with other members of your "Pack").
- Username.
- Device Token for sending Push notifications.
2.2. Pet Data:
- Name, species, breed, sex, date of birth, weight and its history, color.
- Medical information: sterilization status, allergies, medications taken, vaccination data, veterinarian
information, microchip number, laboratory test results (images, PDF documents).
- Feeding and behavior data: type of food, feeding schedule, activity level.
- Photos and documents: We collect photos of your pets and medical documents you upload to
create a profile and conduct AI analysis.
- Photos of products and labels: We collect and analyze photos of ingredients and pet food
compositions that you upload for the "AI Chef" module and nutritional analysis.
2.3. User Content:
- Comments and messages in news discussions.
- History of correspondence with the AI assistant and support service.
2.4. Contact Data:
- When using the "Add from Contacts" feature, we access the list of phone numbers in your address book. We use
this data exclusively to find registered users and simplify the process of forming your pet's "Pack". We do
not store a copy of your address book on our servers in plain text.
2.5. Technical Data:
- AI usage logs (request counts, tokens), as well as interface language, timezone, and region settings.
2.6. Transaction Metadata:
- Amount, currency, payment status, and transaction ID (we do not collect or store bank card data, which is processed directly by payment gateways).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Service Provision: Creating and storing pet profiles, weight tracking, generating care
recommendations.
- AI Analysis and Moderation: Text data, pet photos, and documents are transmitted to
Artificial Intelligence models to assess health conditions. User comments undergo automatic AI verification
for compliance with community rules.
- Communication and Social Features: Sending health notifications (vaccination reminders),
synchronizing "Pack" members by phone number, and providing news discussion capabilities.
- Support: Processing your requests to technical support.
4. Data Sharing with Third Parties
To operate the App, we use the services of trusted third-party providers. Your data may be transferred to:
- Google (Google Gemini AI): Text descriptions, pet photos, documents, and user comments are
transmitted via Google API to generate analytical reports, chat responses, and automatic content moderation.
- Veterinary clinics (Unified Veterinary Service / UVS): When contacting partner clinics using
the UVS system, your personal data and the pet's medical history (tests, prescriptions) are automatically
synchronized between the App and the clinic's information system to ensure the unity of the medical history.
- Your "Pack" Members: Information about pet profile changes (e.g., weight updates or
vaccinations) is available to other users to whom you have granted access to the pet's profile.
- Telegram: The technical support chat is integrated with Telegram. Messages you send to
support are processed via the Telegram API.
- Apple (APNs): Device tokens are transmitted to Apple to deliver Push notifications to iOS
devices.
- Hosting Providers: Data is stored on secure servers (PostgreSQL).
5. Device Permissions
The App requests access to:
- Camera and Photo Library: To upload pet photos and set user avatars.
- Contacts: To find friends and add new members to your "Pack" by phone number.
- Notifications: To send pet health reminders and support replies.
6. Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data.
- You can delete your account directly in the App settings.
- Upon account deletion, all data about you and your pets (including photos and chat history) is permanently
removed from our servers.
7. Security
We take strict technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- Data Encryption: User phone numbers are stored in encrypted form using modern encryption
algorithms. All data transmission between the App and the server is carried out via a secure HTTPS (SSL/TLS)
protocol.
- Password Storage: Passwords are not stored in plain text; we use secure hashing methods.
- Secure Storage: All chat messages, comments, and pet medical data are stored in secure
databases with restricted access.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot
guarantee its absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Policy
in the App.
9. Cross-Border Data Transfer
To provide Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini) features, your de-identified data (text, photos, documents)
may be transferred to and processed on servers of third-party providers located in the USA and other countries
outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to such transfer. We take all reasonable
measures to ensure the security of your data during international transfer.
10. Children's Privacy
The content of the App is classified as 4+ (suitable for all ages). However, we do not knowingly collect personal
data (email, phone) from children under 13 years of age (in the US) or 16 years of age (in the EU) without the
knowledge and consent of their parents or legal representatives. If you are a parent and discover that your
child has provided us with their data without your consent, please contact us for its deletion.
11. Special Provisions for Different Regions
- European Union (GDPR): If you are located in the EU, you have additional rights: the right
of access, rectification, erasure of data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent.
The legal basis for data processing is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- USA (CCPA/CPRA): We do not "sell" your personal data. California residents have the right
to request information about the categories of data collected and request their deletion.
- South Korea (PIPA): We destroy personal data immediately after the purpose of their
collection is achieved or the account is deleted. Logs and system information are stored for the periods
prescribed by local legislation.
- Kazakhstan: Data collection and processing are carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Personal Data and their Protection". By using the App, you consent to the collection, processing, and cross-border transfer of your data for the purposes of the Service.
